Deep Sea Merman

I had an idea for a merman character and I had to sketch it, I dunno what he is, I just put a bunch of different types of deep sea fishes together and made him.  He's not an angular fish though, those are only female, though there is one in the background.  I want this guy to be super socially awkward because he has lived in the dark all his life.  Some dudes bring him to the light mermaid place and he goes slightly insanely happy.
I am thinking of my next big story I do having to involve mermaids because I just really like mermaids.  But I dunno about the story yet. ;w;  Or characters.  I'm just doodling fish
